Cangkir Cafeteria is one of the cafeterias in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. It is named Cangkir Cafeteria because its shape is like a big imitation of cup. Most of students spend their time in Cangkir Cafeteria because of some reasons. First, the location is strategic. It is near from faculties building, parking area, even the mosque. So, after eating, students can go praying straightly. In the spare time, students can go to Cangkir Cafeteria straightly.
Another reason is this cafeteria has some facilities such as AC and Non AC room. In AC room, it is just for reserved room and lecturers but if there are not deservers or lecturers, the students can enter this room. In non AC room there are television in the middle, two fans in each corner the room, two cashiers, Turkish kebab stand, and washtubs. Cangkir Cafeteria also has photocopy and print.
The last reason is this cafeteria provides various menus. There are many kinds of foods and drinks in this cafeteria such as Indonesian foods- Ketoprak Sayur, Ketoprak, Gado-Gado, Fried rice, etc. It also has Japanese foods like teriyaki and Western foods like chicken fillets, and sausages. There are also many kinds of drinks in this cafeteria-fruit juices, cappuccino, coffee, milk, etc. To conclude, location, facilities, and various menus are all the reasons why the students spend their spare time in Cangkir Cafeteria.
