My friend “ Briony” from Australia will come to Indonesia tomorrow and I want to take her to Jakarta because she just has one day to spend her holiday. Why I take her to Jakarta? Because Jakarta is central of Indonesia and as central the administration, central the commerce, etc. So, only Jakarta you don’t need much time to holiday as everything what you need you will get it. Beside that, soekarno-Hatta airport is near from Jakarta and if you only have one day to holiday immediately you can go around to Jakarta.
Although Jakarta crowded and always traffic jam everywhere the street and every time. But I feel Jakarta is suitable for foreign visitor to know whole about Indonesia begin the traditional food of Indonesia, many culture, many traditional language, etc.
So that, if she arrives in Soekarno-Hatta airport the first I will take her go to Monas. Why I take her to Monas? Because Monas is central monument of Jakarta and near with castle of president, Not only that, she will to get many traditional foods of Indonesia especially food of Jakarta (Betawi) there. And then immediately I will take her go to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) from there, she will see many cultures of Indonesia like traditional houses, traditional clothes, and many kinds others. My purpose to do that because I want to introduce all about Indonesia to her and she becomes knowing many beautiful and kind’s culture of Indonesia.
